Here's The Breathing Room You Need {my new podcast!}

Are you tired of living frantic and defeated?  
Is the mindless busy-ness of this world driving you mad?
Do words like slowsimple, and savor sound lovely to you? 
Have you been wishing your family could step out of the fast lane and get back to what really matters most?

If so, I'm with you!  I'm trying to get to that place too,
and I think this is a dream we can make a reality!


Friends, I gotta be totally honest.  I have done some serious soul searching over the past few years and that searching has led to this place, this podcast, and I will tell you why.

I don't have a lot of free time.  I'm guessing you don't either.  What I choose to do with my time matters - for me, my family, and the other people in my little world.  

I've discovered that one of my deepest passions is for intentional living.  I don't want to be swept up into the ways of the world only to wake up one day and find I rushed my way through life and missed everything that really mattered along the way.  


Do you know what I mean?  

These are the kinds of conversations I am having with friends 
on my morning runs and at the playground and on social media.
 
How do we live a life of substance?  
How do we push back the unimportant things that are sucking the life out of us and make room to cultivate the things that will endure for ourselves, our families, our neighbors?
How do we stick together and stop being bullied into doing everything everybody else is doing instead of those few, precious things we were created to do?

Here is something I know about God...
True to your word you help me catch my breath
and send me in the right direction.
PSALM 23:3
 
I spend a lot of time around a lot of families and I've discovered we all 
desperately need a chance to catch our breath and get back on the right track.  
This isn't a one-time fix.  It's a regular rhythm.  
That's what The Breathing Room is all about.
 
It's a place to pause.

No more frantic, defeated living. 
No more mindless busy-ness.
